Start looking over the posts on this forum.

If you don't find the answers to your questions, you aren't looking hard enough.

Go ahead and ask after you've looked, though.

P.S.: If you look hard enough, you'll see the hair rise on the back of my neck when people talk about the need to "rip out all the smog crap and the computer stuff", though. That info can be found on the carb, exhaust, and tech forums as well as this one.

"Daily driver".

"Runs 13's".

"Doesn't get horrible gas mileage".

Sounds like a 350 TPI with induction and exhaust upgrades and a nice shot of nitrous.

Meaning you keep "all the smog crap and the computer stuff".

You might also be able to do it with a 350 or 383 under the L69 equipment, with exhaust upgrades and that shot of nitrous.

Meaning you keep "all the smog crap and the computer stuff".

what i have is pretty much sorta what you are looking at, i do drive mine everyday, its is close to 13s and if i keep out of the gas...its is ok on gas

i am thinking mine would have hit 13.9 but i had trouble cooling it down and was running at 230 degrees constantly...i tracked my problem down to a bad "new" thermostat and bad rad cap...with the things i add this spring i am hoping for atleast a 13.6 if thats to much to ask...lol

I'm building up a 355 for my 84Z28 HO car and am going to keep the CC carb and distributor. As the pollution control stuff went bad I took it off.
There have been several positive comments on this board about the CC carb doing a good job on the 350+ engines.
