350 build
I bought my 350 and im going to pretty much completey rebuild it. Getting it acid dipped and sadblasted by my friend then I was thinking of buying the lower end kit off of jegs from eagle. Its like 600 its just street strip cast.
I was wondering on the heads. I was told by my friend to throw my old 305 heads on it for better compression to keep it on a budget build. Then get a decent cam and intake and call it quits. does that sound ok? any oppinions on this. Trying to stay under 1500 dollars on the whole rebuild

For the record, it's a caustic solution, the opposite of an acid.
Not with stock LO3 RS swirlport TBI heads. LG4 carb heads, LB9 TPI heads, yes. But, not TBI heads.

Re: 350 build
When I built my motor, ended up finding a set of 906 Vortec heads for $250, in rebuilt condition. Just have to look, you may find a good deal.
