You're talking about the mounts that bolt to the engine, right? They are different. There have been threads in the past discussing this, but I can't tell you off the top of my head which is which.
While it can be a bit of a challenge to get them to fall into place even when everything is right, if you can't get it to even get close, try switching them from side-to-side and see if that helps.
