corvette 113 heads

does anyone know if the vette 113 heads will except, without mods the old style sbc intake? also what intake gasket would i need? the vette uses a differant one from the regular sbc. any help would be great thanks

i pretty sure the center bolt holes are angled differently so the old intake wont work without mod. the felpro 1204 gasket is a good one. here is a thread about those heads

if the heads were made after 86 they should have a different intake bolt pattern.

NOT TRUE!

The 113's have the '86-earlier bolt angles/pattern. They were used on the ZZ3 & ZZ4 crate engine, and that intake has all 90 degree bolt holes (have one of those manifolds on Berlinetta #1).

WOW . thanks for the reply 5.7! that would mean the 87 later tpi vette intakes are differant from the 87 later f-car. I wonder why GM did this. also the tpi vettes all ran a large cap hei. they must have planned on using those heads for gm performance catalog.
