Engine swap help

i have a 1991 z/28 with a 305 tpi and 700r4 tranny, i swapped in a 350 block from a 1985 chevy truck, and installed pedals and a 5 speed world class tranny, i have all thge wires hooked back up to were they were on the 305, when i turn the key absoulelty nothing happens, I decided to jump in form the starter and it ran . I thought it might be a computer problem do you have to swap out the computer when going from a 305 automatic to a 5.7 manual ?

check all your wiring in the pedals(brake switch and clutch switch) remember that the 305 with 700 has the park lock up switch which the computer needs to start the engine... also check the vats wires... is ur check engine light on? diagnose the codes if it is
