Well im swapping from a 305 tpi to a 350 carbed motor..i bought the motor for 200 bucks..but the guy thought it was a 2 bolt main but i popped off the oil pan...and shes a 4 bolt main ha ha...anyways the heads where really trashed so i was thinking of swapping my 305 lb9 heads to this 350 but im going to send them to get cleaned and all that..the motor came with the intake and carb...the intake is a performer one from edelbrock part number 2101..it says Not for 1987 and later cast iron or Chevy Bowtie heads. Will fit 1987 and later stock aluminum heads. Available with standard finish or polished...does this mean that the manifold will fit my lb9 heads?? thanks.

No.. the 2101 intake.. will only fit 86 and earlier.. like the LB9 heads.
you could have your intake.. offset drilled to match. L98 or LT1 heads

so why does it say it will fit 1987 stock aluminum heads? u also said they will fit the lb9 heads and thats what i got.

'85 & '86 LB9's used the 416 casting heads, which have all of the intake mount bolts at the same 90 degree angle. '87-up LB9's used the 081 heads, which had the center two intake mount bolts at 72 degrees.
All f-body L98's had 083 cast iron heads with the center two intake mount bolts at 72 degrees like the 081 305 heads. Corvette L98's got aluminum heads halfway through the '86 model year, and kept the mount bolts at 90 degrees through end of production in the '91 model year.
