is it possible to use a 350 tpi from a 91 z28 and put a intake on it and use my tbi system?? the harness on that car is all hacked up and mine is fine. so i figured it would swap as long as i got the knock sensor and ecm.

You forgot the injectors, but do those, and your answer is yes. While you're at it, do Edelbrock's TBI intake.

You're talking about putting your LO3 TBI system on a 350 L98 TPI longblock, right?
In that case, the injectors and ECM won't do you any good. You're going to need a 350 throttle body and ECM (at least the chip, or have yours reprogrammed).

I think kid missed what you were wanting. That, or I did.
If you have the L98 long-block, to put in an LO3 car, you need an LO5 computer, and LO5 injectors. Everything else swaps over no problem.

i was planning on getting a carb intake with the adapter plate. so i could just get my chip re burnt to go along with the 350? i dont have the motor yet its still in the car. just wondering if this was an option.

Re: 350 tpi=tbi
What adapter plate? There's no adapter plate involved in this. If you're wanting to adapt the TB to a carbureted intake, forget it. Not a wise plan. Just use the Edelbrock TBI intake. If you absolutely will not, the Holley Pro-Jection 2v intake will directly take the TB, and have eGR, but it fails to circulate coolant around the TB pad the way the stock and Edelbrock TBI intakes do.

oh i herd that was the best way to go because there were better intakes that i could use then. but if the edlebrock is better choice il go that way.

If you were getting a set of AFR 180 heads, then I could see a benefit to the adapter and a Weiand Stealth AirStrike (fits under hood better than Edelbrock RPM AirGap, and within 5 ft-lbs at any & all rpm), but the Edelbrock TBI intake outflows the stock L98 heads.

L05 comp won't be any better than the L03 comp, he'll have to tune the car for the L98 cam,
