Goal to beast the 5.0

So i am 18 years old and i just bought a 1991 camaro rs with no motor or tranny. For a good deal the car is in good shape. I have several transmissions i have around from trading with people. And i have a 350 i build mildly with mild cam, high compression iron heads, aluminum intake and carb all together desktop dyno says its around 375 hp. which idk how reliable it is. But my goal is to outrun a boy in his 5.0 mustang with a few odds and end that runs 13.3s on the 1/4. this boy kinda gets everything handed to him and just wont let us good ole boys get a break so im seeing what everything thinks, what i should do and maybe some suspension tips to hook up better. Anything to get an edge, because i also wanna prove to my dad that i can accomplish something. thanks for reading, jordan

Hooking it up needs to start with checking the rubber bushings in the rear suspension, unless you're ready to buy some aftermarket arms with poly bushings. This is a good move, and may be necessary if your original rubber bushings are bad. Then weld in some subframe connectors.
Now, with the safety issue out of the way, the next biggest help is a posi. Your car doesn't have one, and you will need one. And if you're wanting decent acceleration, put a set of 3.73:1 gears in there while you're at it.
You already have 28-spline axles, those are fine for just 375 horses, which should handle that mustang.
Next is a pair of drag radials. Mickey Thompsons are the stickiest, but the BFGs are better for daily driving. You can easily go as large as 275/60r15s, but that isn't necessary. If you have 15x7 wheels, get some 235/60R15s, and if you have 16x8s, go 255/50R16.
From there, the next steps are running drag shocks and adding a BMR torque arm.
Lastly, a set of anti-squat brackets, especially if you decide to lower the rear of the car. You want those trailing arms level, not riding at an angle.
Angled nose down looks to some guys like it would help traction, but it doesn't.
