the astro vans used them due to space restraints, also i believe they were valved differently from the trucks. the 2500's had some but much less than the 3500's. as light as our cars are compared to the trucks I'd go towards the astro set the hydraulic valving would be much closer for our cars weight. the trucks used them for slowing down 10,000 lb trailers.

would the astro booster work with the truck power steering pump and lines?

it should work just make sure you have the pressure lines connected properly, they should be from the pump to the booster to the steering box in that order. if you hook the lines up wrong you wont have the boosted brakes. also the pump should have 2 return lines on it 1 for the booster the other for the steering.

Use a flywheel that is for a Mk V one piece rear seal, and external balanced.
