Torque converter and Motor Mounts
This week end I am going to start swapping out my old 305 with my newly built 350. I have all the parts i need to finish the swap except for the new motor mounts. Im not sure which would be best so I am open for suggestions if any body can recommend some.
The engine is going to have between 360 380 hp at the crank and 400 Lb of torque. I was just going to use the stock converter. But i also have a converter from a 95 Buick roadmaster. That was a in a 4l60e and from an lt1 engine. I believe it would work in the carmaro. The camaro will have the gen1 350 and the 700r4. I was thinking that because it was in a heavy station wagon that maybe it would have a higher stall rating. Which would perform better.

Personally, I like poly engine mount inserts, but there isn't anything different between 305 and 350 mounts.
I don't know for certain, but I would imagine a '95 Roadmaster torque converter would stall lower than a '95 Vette or f-body converter. How it would compare to a 3rd gen converter - couldn't say.

Re: Torque converter and Motor Mounts
The converter from a S-10 4.3 litre truck (I think it's from the 4.3 litre) stalls at a higher rpm than a stock F-body converter, and they are cheap - got mine from GMpartsdirect.com think I paid $125 (3 years ago). In theory, it stalls at about 2100rpm compared to stock F-body converter at about 1300rpm. Do a search for "s-10 converter" and see what pops up here - I read about it on here years ago.

3rd gen is 1800, S10 4 cyl is 2400
Yes its a slight increase, but the trade off isnt worth it for a higher output engine like he's got
Buy the right stall from the get-go or replace the trans down the road
