Oil Sender Stand Leak-HEADACHE
I swapped my 305 for a high performance 350 chevy. Everything is smooth except the major oil leak coming from my oil sender unit. I took the necessary measures to make sure the leak wasnt from something else as well...Im positive it is due to the damaged threads on the block for the unit (recently noticed them). I would much prefer not to weld anything and I have tried a bunch of different sealants and an epoxy type weld.
Can I relocate the oil pressure sender to a port near the oil filter and plug the current one?
Any advice?
-Thank you

You can, but if the block threads are damaged, how are you going to plug the port you're using?

Well in that case I may end up welding it, but I wanted to be sure I can relocate without issue before going that route. Are there any kits available specifically for this?
