Just finished transplanting the new 383 stroker into the Maro.

hornets!Every year the local wasp population takes over my z28. I don't know why but they don't like my RS. They love my z28 for some reason though. The bastards have given me a lot of grief while working on the car that's probably why your brother gave me a good laugh because I can relate.
I bet that 383 has really high torque. What did you do to the heads before putting them on?

Just a mild port job on the heads. Everything has been on a budget with the way the economy has been lately.
They are actually wasp but my brother couldn't tell the difference. They like to build thier nest in the space behind the side view mirrors. This is the second time they've done it recently. Guess it works out great for them because it's dark and a little cooler back there.
I'm banking on a thier being alot of torque. Still have to tune the carb, button some stuff up and finish the transmission shift kt install. Then I can take her out for a spin.
