Re: MORE BBC SWAP PICS-POBOYRACING
Camshafts have several eccentric lobes which use rotational motion to create a vertical motion thus "lifting" the lifters off the "base circle" of the cam up the ascending side of the lobe over the nose back down the decending side of the lobe finaly coming to a peacefull rest back on the base circle of the eccintric lobe so i'd imagine it will lift the lifters

You said you didn't know how it was going to work
. Seriously though cam cores are pretty much all made by a handfull of people so material quality is all relativly the same it's just how accurate did they grind it in relation to from lobe to lobe, and timing in relation to the dowel pin. Last I looked there are only like 5-6 lifter manufacturers making lifters on a full scale basis as in not just making top fuel lifters for example. So chances are you have a set of GM, Eaton, Isky, Johnson, or Stanadyne lifters once again quality is all roughly the same. Johnsons being the most famous has sprung back out of bankrupcy under topline's colors Delphi is making GM's lifters (top notch) isky goes without intro as a clear valve train leader, Eaton is run of the mill type stuff, never seen a set of Stanadyne don't even know if they are in business, and finally Morell (sp?) they make premium racing lifters including top fuel lifters, but are elusive at best. I have seen two sets of those in my life one of which is going in my trailor queens next motor
