Engine swap noob questions

I own an 82 Camaro, 305 4 Barrel (lg4). my friend has a 400 sbc that was rebuilt 10k miles ago, and has a lot of good parts. He would give it to me for free! How hard would this swap be? Would it bolt right in? Could I use a TH350 with this engine?

Sorry for the ignorant questions....

no ignorant questions its how you learn, but yes it will fit right in cuz it is still a small block and you can use all the pullys that are on the 305 and its not hard will take about a day if you know what you are doin disconnect the wires and label them then unbolt the tranny and the engine mounts and make sure the grounds are off the engine along with the starter wires, also drain your coolant disconnect the houses and fuel lines and pull her out now do all that in reverse for the 400 lol and yes it will bolt up to a th350 im assuming that is whatyou have in the car if not then u will need a way of mounting a torque arm..one of the sponser sites(cant remember what one) makes a mounting bracket for the tranny
