Some1 helllllp meeee

Not as urgent as the title seems but I came across an 87 iroc....it's minus the engine and tranny. My cousin suggested that if I were 2 pic up this bored out beauty that I should drop an ls1 in it.....any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Some1 helllllp meeee

Which engine to go with is a separate issue from whether or not to buy the car. If you like the car, it has a good title, the price is right, and there's no structural damage, then get it.
Picking the engine depends on your budget, your skills at wrenching, and your goals for what you want the car to be able to do.

Re: Some1 helllllp meeee

Atilla has it right....i'm working a swap right now with a minimal budget...little to no money (i'm not getting far). found a good deal on 6.0 LQ seems they are cheaper than the LS1 and i believe its basically the same (different intake/accessories)..you can definitely look into that.

Anyways...whatever you decide to do good luck. but I will tell you one thing 3rd gens are an awesome ride and are super fun to drive!
