Re: 305 to 327 tpi

you're proposing a serious mis-match. If you're commited to keeping the long-runner TPI, then save or sell the 327 crank, and go for the cubes of a 350 instead. If you're committed to the 327, then save or sell the TPI, and get an HSR.
Either way, forget the GMPP Fast-Burn heads, they're crap. 40 cc larger intake ports than iron production truck Vortec heads, 0.060" larger intake valves, too, but even so, they still can't out-flow the truck heads. That points out a severe loss of port volume, which is what TPI is based on.
For the same money as a FB-headed TPI 327, you'd be much happier with the results of a Vortec 383.
Just because you have the 327 is not good reason to install it into these cars. Find a Miata to swap it into. That'd be way more fun, anyway.

10 to 1 compression with what cc heads and gasket? For the heads, you need to stick to as close to 58cc as possible like the 305 torquers and use Felpro 1003 gaskets.
