305 to 350 swap, Flywheel Question.

1988 Firebird with 305ci TBI 5 speed (WC t5)

dumping in a 1996 350ci L31 (5700 series) Vortec block.

Need to know if my 305 flywheel will be compatible. Will it need to be rebalanced? Can I buy a properly balanced one from Summit or a parts shop? Thanks.

Both engines have 1 pce seal crank and use the same style flywheel / balance

Yes, probably (especially if you want PERFECTION and not just "good enough), and yes.

Good enough is fine for me. Just a street car looking for a bit more pep in its step.
