Can anyone identify this engine & heads?

Alright so im going to purchase this "350" engine with "vortec" heads.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm that this is indeed a 350, and that the heads are indeed vortec?
I just want to double check before i decide on buying.

I took pictures of almost every number i found on the block and heads.

I also took pictures of the pistons and was wondering if anyone has used them before/had experiences with that brand?

Any info on these would be great.
Thanks

Re: Can anyone identify this engine & heads?

the vortec head is not a brand, its a gm factory part, one of the better designs, but will require you to get a different intake manifold to match the bolt pattern on the heads.you wont be able to use all the older non vortec intakes.there is no egr passage in the heads,so emissions may be a problem for you too if you have to have it tested.

its a good stock head if your on a budget.
