305 to 350 and questions..

I was building a 350 for my 81 Malibu wagon and then I sold the wagon. I kept the 350 which is already built:

1978 - 014 four bolt 350
1990 350 TBI heads
Comp Cams XE256 flat tappet cam
Hypereutic dished pistons (.020) 9.0 comp ratio with fel pro 1003 head gasket
ARP Head, Rod and Main bolts
New oil pan

Now I have a Daily Driver 305 'Bird that I think needs a new engine (doing a compression check soon) but have questions.

I want to do a Vats delete on my 'Bird, so can I order a 350 chip with the vats delete and it should work out of the box?

I believe I need injectors, 2pc RMS Flexplate and knock sensor for the 350

anything else you can see that I would need for the 350? I plan on using the serp setup of the 350 on the 350, and all accessories.

Re: 305 to 350 and questions..

Headers will help deal with the dipstick being on the other side, if you don't have them already. It might be a nice time to put some better heads on it, too.
