650 to 750 cfm performance gains on my swap?
i hope this isnt a stupid question. but with the 350 i'm putting in my camaro. i have 3 carbs. one is a brand new 650 edle. and the other is an older 750 holly which could probably use a rebuild. ok the question is how much of the potential will i loose going with the 650 carb over the 750? my motor is .060 over, 268/504 cam, worked vortec heads, dual plane intake just to give a quick rundown on it. also what about ignition systems. is an expensive msd type set up going to show me more hp. anybody have any hp #'s that would give me an idea. i'm not a gear head so again hope this is'nt to stupid of a q. i was just thinking about it here at work and thought i'd ask as i will be doing the finishing on my motor this weekend.
thanks

Which Holley is it? On size alone you'd only lose maybe a couple of HP. No gains to be realized from an expensive ignition if your current system doesn't already have problems.

thanks apeiron, well my thinking is i already spent a lot $ on everything else and i really dont want to fork out the extra cash for a new ignition system and rebuilding that 750 right now. i had planned on reusing the ignition system that was there till summer and then buy all new stuff. these two items are the only items iv skipped on buying just cuz i have a lot wrapped up in the heads and block etc. anyway so not that big of a deal if i stay with the 650 for now. and sorry i dont know the model # of the 750 right now, im at work.
