intake and carb?
intake and carb?
HI everyone, i am going to be putting a stock 350 crate engine in my 85 z28 and i am debating what intake and carb to use to get all power the 350 has and still be able to put all the emissions equipment on. I am thinking about using the edelbrock performer intake but idk wat carb, and should i go with an electric choke or manual choke. this will be my daily driver. o and i do believe my car has an egr right? just let me know what you think thanks

Is the car carb or TPI right now?
The factory computer q-jet is more than up to the task of any 350 that can pass emissions. In fact, a factory computer q-jet is the only emissions-legal carb you can use.
Yes, it does have EGR.

That's what I would recommend. It will probably benefit from some minor tuning such as different secondary rods & hanger, but it is more than capable of handling an emissions-friendly 350.
