Vortech Heads

So ive been reading a bunch on builds and such. whats so special about these vortech heads? i notice that a lot of people put them on...btw im a newbie lay it on me lol

They have an improved intake port and combustion chamber design compared to the old 23 degree chevy heads

Obviously not taking in what you are reading.
Some of the best performing heads ever to come out from GM on a stock engine , they outflow every cast iron SBC head ever made including the Bow Tie race heads.

Stock they have valve lift limits but that is easily overcome and heads require a Vortec only intake
