Belt Drive Swap???
I had a 305 tpi engine in my 91 camaro, and i just pulled it for a 350. This is the engine i have http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-10067353/. Now what im wondering since my 305 had the stock log headers and there was a bracket for i think the A/C that went fromi think the headers to the A/C compresser for i guess support, will it swap on if i use performance headers like hooker or hedman? All the belt drive swaped right on but i couldnt find where the black bracket bolts to. Also there was another bracker for the alternator that i couldnt find where to bolt it to. Do i really need them? If so where would i bolt them up at? Last question since i havent put this engine in yet and everything so far bolted right up to it, will it bolt right up into the car with out any mods or trouble?

Most folks get a metal spacer from Home Depot/Lowes, and use a longer bolt (or the original manifold bolt) - put the header on, put on the spacer, then the support bracket, then run the bolt through all 3 into the head. The spacer in in the hardware (nuts/bolts) section, usually in a drawer. It's about 2in long, and has about a 3/8 inside diameter.

So all heads have the hole for where the screw goes in it for the support braket? Im alittle confused on what you said. What is the spacer supposed to do? My question was if i can remember the header its self had threading where a bolt went into for the support bracket. Am i wrong?
