swaping my new motor in what do i need
my motor is taking a **** on me getting oil in the air filter and the valves are tapping. by the way its a 1991 camaro rs with a 305 tbi and 5 speed. this is my first swap and woundering what gaskets and what not ill need . im putting in a 89 305 tbi in guessing alot of the sensors and what not will be in the same place. im going to just unhook from the trans and just pull the motor out. what gaskets should i look at replacing.

If you aren't taking off the intake manifold or water pump to change from engine to engine, you shouldn't need any gaskets.
Typically the distributor gets in the way when pulling the engine, so it is removed to protect it. You will then need to set the timing when you get the "new" engine running.
If the '89 is from an automatic, you will need a pilot bearing/bushing to put into it before you install your flywheel & clutch.
