car wont fire...?
ok so i did an engine swap v6 to v8 350 blah blah who guys know lol anyway towed it back from the tranny shop fired it up and drove it up my driveway an parked it...went to fix a gas line that was leaking..fixed that...tied some loose wires back went to fire it and nothing turned over and go nothing...i was getting power to the dizzy so i took the dizzy out and the rotor had broke so i changed that put everything back it put it to TDC went to start it and still wouldnt fire keep in mind it still turns over...so i took the first spark plug out and i was getting no spark tried a new spark plug and i was getting a spark now so i put all new e3 diamond fire spark plugs in went to fire it and still get nothing just keeps turning over the engine is getting gas and a spark...just wont fire any ideas would be helpful

With engine at tdc of the compression stroke make sure the rotor is pointing to number 1 piston if not pick up and relocate distributor so it does. place cap on make sure its secured correctly install plug wires making sure #1 wire is right above the rotor point and continue installing wires clockwize around cap (18436572) <-fireing order advance your timing by turing dizzy counter clockwize lil at a time and try to start. u want around 6-12 degrees not tdc use a timing light after shes running to dial her in
