2.8L v6 to 5.0 v8

im gonna be doing the swap. i have read everything saying the 2.8L trans wont bolt to a v8. does anyone have any pics to prove it cause my brother in law says it will bolt up to a v8. i dont need any negative that it wont bolt up. i just want PICS if anyone has them. if not i will just unbolt my old trans and prove it to him myself.

No problem bud. The V6 tranny is physically smaller than the V8 I believe.

No, the V8 guts will go in the V6 case, whether 700R-4 or T5.
