olds 307 to olds 350

olds 307 to olds 350
The engine in my 79 trans am locked up a while back it was supposed to an olds 350 in it but when i ran the numbers from the block it is an olds 307. Was wondering if it was possible to turn the olds 307 into an olds 350 i know they share the same stroke and most parts from the 350 will fit the 307.

No, among other things there's over 1/4" difference in bore between the two.
I don't think there's going to be much here of interest to thirdgens, so I'm going to close it.
