Ive started to swap out the carb'd 2.8 v6 in my 83 camaro for a tbi 5.0 v8 ive got a 700r4 trans with it. But ive noticed the trans crossmember off the v6 trans doesnt match up with the 700r4 and i was wondering what solutions could i do for the problem??

 

If the V6 has the secondary cross member (a two-piece affair), simply use the one-piece from the 700R4--or vise versa.
