About to complete my Crossfire to 350 Carb swap. But do I keep the engine harness ?
Hey guys ! First of all, I would like to say thank you for everyone who has helped me out during the past few months, you guys are the best
This project took me a very long time, because I ran out of funds, but slowly but surely everything worked out. I'm about to drop the 350 Carb in tomorrow , but some people said I should remove the engine harness. If I do, how do I wire up the Oil pressure switch,Temp Sending Unit,Distributor and what ever else I'm missing out? I already removed the Pass side Fender, because I have to fix a rust spot on that side.
Also, are there any tips I should know about regarding the 200 C to 700r4 Tranny swap. I know there is something with a vacuum hose, but I'm not sure. And I am using a Painless Kit to wire up the 700r4.
Any help would be great ! Thank you very much

all of the gauge wiring goes the the driver side harness, where as the passenger side harness is only for the computer controlled stuff on the engine. You should be able to completely separate the two harnesses without having to make any cuts

You will need a shorter torque arm and driveshaft (the vastly more commonly used ones on 3rd gens).
There is no vacuum hose on a TH700.
