Its a Going problem - 305tpi to a 350tpi
Okay, so i have not been on here in forever. just got car going today finished. was hopin to be done with it, and time to try and make some bank BUT
I drove it to get an alignment today and on my way back home it was really struggling to get up this hill.
Then i parked the car. reved it up it was fine. 4300 rpms sounding great
Went down the road and i almost got rear ended cant go even get up to 25 mph....
OK this is everything i have replaced since purchasing vehicle.
Its a 350 TPI, crank kit, new bearings, new main bearings, new seals and gaskets all FELPRO, gm performance high comp. flat top pistons, stock crank., stock plenum, runners, intake, etc, etc.
It's a t5 transmission previously had a 305. did a 350 swap.... its basically stock.
t5 is built w/ hurst shift kit. Supposedly it was rebuilt to withstand 400hp, prev. owner. The 305 in it was built apparently? even though the casing it **** can it withstand 400hp???
but i have a cheapy clutch, advance auto parts Zoom Clutch,
Has smog delete, CAT Delete...
New Steering Column - Used off of Ebay
New Bushings, inner tie rods, ball joints in front....
still needs shocks
New Tires, and freshly restored GTA Rims
New Customly Made drivers side floor pan.
the only thing that i think could be the cause is the computer. its still a 305 computer, again supposedly chipped. he did say never had it tuned.
or the **** tranny. ... if its the tranny someone better hide the car and hammers.. lol
When in neutral or clutch is down car has great throttle repsonse.
It just will not go.
there is littler 28.9miles on the car since everything has been done.

Start w/ the basic stuff.
Is the ign. timing set right & does it advance when you rev it?
Test fuel pressure while it acting up.
Set the tps properly.
Double check all the grounds & connections.
Any codes? Is the vss hooked up?
