I have 1 91 rs the 305 was taken out of it from owner before me my plan was to take my 350 4 bolt main and drop it into it well before i dropped the motor in it i wanted to make sure the wiring was working well every positive wire under the dash is negatively charged not sure how that happened i thought a power wire was grounded but there are no sparks when anything is hooked up and i just tried it with the positive disconnected i still have ground running every where i have power from the batt up to 2 boxes on the driver side fire wall they look like relays one has a positive orange wire and the other is red also the same orange wire splits off and goes into the passenger side fire wall into the the computer under the dash those have power all the way to the computer thats as far as my power goes i have changed out computers it had a tbi motor in it i am putting a carb 350 in it so not sure if all thease wires are needed i want the a/c radio and lights and windows to still work how can i fix this thanks.
