Need help wiring a 355
Dropped a carb'd 355 in my 1986 project Camaro... this car originally had a V6 in it. The wire harness that is in it now was from the V6. This is my first time doing this so can someone explain what wiring I need to complete this conversion... I would like the bare minimum as far as wiring cluddering up my engine bay. Should I go to a parts site and buy a new wire harness or can I use the old one? I've attached a few pics of the project.

All wiring from driver side firewall connector needs to stay in place - this is all your lights, horn, electrical for fuse panel, starter wires, etc. Most all wiring from pass side connector (in fender at pass floorboards) can be removed.
A few wires run from pass side to driver side ... in the wiring loom that goes over the tranny behind the motor (like fan relays wires and fuel pump relay wires, maybe a few more) - those can be fished out through the loom and bundled with the pass side wires.
MOST IMPORTANT .... don't cut anything just yet! Simply tuck the pass side wires and harness completely intact into the pass side fender out of sight. Easier to find out you need something before it's been cut out, rather than after. My ECM wires are still in my fender 5+ years later - I use them on occasion for things like fan controls, foglight wires, and anything else where I need wires from inside car to the outside - it saves me having to drill/route new wires through the firewall every time I get the urge to add or try something - I just use an existing ECM wire.
