What heads are compattible

Hi i was wondering what gm cars i can get heads off of from pullapart that would work on a 350 small block. I heard that the about 1999-2004 subarbans with the 5.3 engine have good vortec heads on them. Please dont tell me if you know a vehicle with heads that will fit but wont perform well. I am looking to build a 300 horse or more engine

thanks

5.3 is a Gen III LSX engine so the heads won't fit on regular SBC.
You need heads from a 96 -00 L31 350 engine that came in trucks ,vans and SUV's
See

The good performance Vortec heads for SBC everybody mentions only came on the above vehicles

so you know what you are looking for

As a note; all late GM truck engines are called Vortecs
