LS4 Swap

Will someone tell me if the ls4 is different than the other ls motors as far as installing in my 91 Camaro. I have read in several places it's an easier install but no one ever says why. I thought all the ls motors were basically the same as far a mounting and installing. I have a chance to pick up one fairly cheap with low miles. Thanks in advance.

Re: LS4 Swap

LS6 then went to the LS3 and now LS7 the numbers are confusing I think the LS4 is the FWD model

If you are looking at a vette motor there are a few things that need to be swaped from a camaro LS motor before it will fit good like oil pan pickup accesories exhaust manifolds

Isn't that true with any swap. Is there one that's simpler than another. This is my first major project of this kind thought I have help from experienced people. To be honest my original idea was to go with a ramjet 350 which would be quite easy. Maybe I should stick with that idea.
