Is it easier to install the engine and transmission together or just the engine with the transmission already installed? Not using a car lift.

 

its much easier to get convertor fully seated with trans out It can be done separate though,take the hood off and get a engine leveler,you can tilt it,to angle the engine trans combo in I just put a BBC and trans in my 89 iroc,and didnt even use one,went right it,with no help
