Frame side clamshell mount, 2.8 to SBC
Alright, before I'm chastised for it-- I HAVE read the sticky! 
Multiple times. I'm just trying to clarify because the way its worded isn't quite clear to me.
As far as the K member clamshell goes, is it actually a DIFFERENT part between the V6 and V8, or is it just the same mount moved to the forward position?
If it is indeed a different part, what years am I looking for as far as GM vehicles in general that are compatible to scavenge clamshells off of?

From what I can see on my 2.8, it looks like the mount is entirely different so I guess I answered my own question. V8 mounts are only $7 at the parts store so, problem solved I guess. Thanks.
