It's been awhile since I've owned a 454, but isn't that one of the two ac brackets....

suppose to be alt mounting bracket to low mount alt bought on ebay person who sold will not contact me

Ya there are two bolt holes on sbc and bbc with threards on left and right side on front of the blocks

this is pic for add only place two bolt holes is water pump mounting holes then will bolt to head

You see the two threaded holes in the water pump, just above the inlet. The lower alt bracket attaches to those. It looks like the bracket you have serves as both a lower and upper bracket.

to bolt up there only one hole lines up and willnot bolt to headand that is the biggest pic they gave

Where does the other hole line up?
Maybe get an alternator spacer tube the other bolt goes thru & cut it to fit the length, IDK if that will help, just a thought

toplines up but hole in head doesent only way all three hole line up is using water pump mounting holes bought some tubbing to cut for spacers
