help swaping 305 tbi with TPI
i have a 91 firebird 305TBI. i have got a 305 TPI out of a 88'bird came with the ECM, distributor cap no distributor, and no serpentine system.
so i need to know is
*can i use the serpentine system and distributor from my tbi engine?
*is there any problem with passing emisions with swaping engines?
*my other option is to switch block and put my tbi intake on the new block to keep things the same only the new block has been bored .030 over, will there be any problem with that or do you need to adjust anything? fuel, timeing, ecm?
just trying to make this all work and be legal, any hep would be great!!!

the serpentine system and dizzy should just bolt right on the 88 engine. id stick with the 88 ecm and tpi, its better than the tbi. as far as passing emissions, unless the inspector checks out the block casting numbers, itll look exactly the same with the exception of the tpi intake.
