Re: k member?
yes, k members are the same. itll have both holes drilled for both v6 and v8 motor mounts. v8 mounts are the front holes.

Re: k member?
hmmmm, thats odd then. the supposed v6 kmember had the mounts in front already. got any pictures that may help? im swapping in a 5.3 so im assuming the adapters will just go in place of the v8 mounts

Re: k member?
the v6 is a smaller engine, and therefor needs to sit further back on the kemember for the trans to bolt to it without having to have a seperate trans xmember than the v8s. if the v6 mounted in the same spot, then the trans would need to be moved further forward and it would need a longer drive shaft.
and yes, the 5.3s adapters will bolt in place of the stock v8mounts (as far as i can gather, im no LS expert)
if you have a kmember to look at youll see the front holes are actually spaced out further than the rear holes. the v6 mounts are smaller so the bolt holes are spaced closer together.
not my car, but this is the v8 mounts

Re: k member?
You have to move the battery box brace if you look close at it it's notched around it for the head of the bolt. Just look where the brace attachs at the frame and you'll see it.
