Hey guys im new to the board been creepin around for a bit though, anyways i just bought an 84 z28 it has a 97 vortec 350 swapped into it. my question is whats a good estimate of power with this engine having an edelbrock highrise a 750cfm carb and supposedly an lt4 cam? i come from driving turbo hondas so i have no clue what to expect from this car

 

Truck motor with the wrong cam and carb is too big get a 600 and hp and torqe I would say if its all stock crank rods and what nots and never been touched sence 97 250fwhp 320 fwtq need more infoe like how much stock engine makes what kinda intake

 

well from what i understand a stock vortec from a tahoe gt in 97 made 255hp and 335tq according to gm fatcory specs and thats with the crap throttle body stuff and from what iv read swapping to a carb adds some power and as far as the cam idk anything other than apparently its an lt4 hot cam. the compression of the engine is 10:5.1 from what the specs say. and i think the reason for the big carb is that it does have a plate nitrous system hooked up to it just missing the bottle.
