golen engine for the shortblock and advanced inductions lt4 heads made 550 rwhp NA with a 9.8to1 ratio with my last setup I had the lower ratio because I was planing of future boost

Re: 3rd gen lt1 swap HELP!

so i would be better off swapping lt4 heads rather than say edelbrock performers? and since you've said the short block was great for boost, would you recommend a forged rebuild or stock internals?

Re: 3rd gen lt1 swap HELP!

mine was just a holley cold air intake I would go forged if you plan to boost but remember 20 psi is hard to get on a v8 not like a 4 banger you have to move alot of air to make 20 that means HUGE turbo to be efficient they dont make LT4 parts anymore but go with the edelbrock of trickflow LT4 heads and intake and I liked the LT4 hotcam or the GM847 was alot of fun

I spent around 9000 to build my setup I went all new with everything so expect to pay to play you can do a LS1 and get more power for less or LQ4 LQ9 L92<---the best
