Hey guys just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. Im 24 and from Nc. I have a 87 z28 camaro...seems to be a plain jane basic sport package. It doesnt run lol. It did come with a motor and and tranny but neither are in the car. It has the lg4 305, but im not sure what the tranny is. The car doesnt have the stock carb and seems to be a pos as is but I was hoping with some searching and learning to work on the car myself I may be able to get this thing going someday. I dont expect it to be fast but would like to get it running. I will take some pics of the car asap and maybe I can track my progress. I know very little about wrenching on cars but with help from you guys google and a book or two I think we can get it done!!

invest in a service manual, those things are handy. you can get a shop manual for your car on ebay for ~$50 in most cases, those things are invaluable.
