Need advise

Hello i am new here but not new to cars. I recently did an engine swap in my 1987 firebird. I put in a first gen 350. The problem i am having is the front of the oil pan is hitting the center link and the Right tie rod end hits the pan whenturning to the left. Is this a normal problem or do i just need new mounts. Thanks

Re: Need advise

Sounds like the engine is sitting too low. New mounts are cheap enough to try to fix the problem, certainly won't hurt and are necessary, irregardless of your problem, in a 25 y/o car.
