441 heads help

i found out on my 350 someone had put the 441 heads on and from what ive seen online that they have 9 to 1 compression. the bottom end of my engine from what i know is still stock, its a 1978 350. so will my engine still get the 9:1 or will i need head work to get it there?
any suggestion would be awsome

Compression ratio is a function of head chamber volume, piston crown volume (dish, valve reliefs, dome, etc.), distance from the top of the piston to the deck of the block at TDC (often referred to as compression height), and the volume of the compressed head gasket.

You gave us one of those, sort of. Head chamber volume can vary slightly with production heads. But, getting 76cc heads down to 64cc is quite a task - each cc reduction in SBC chamber volume requires approximately .006" shaving. So, getting them down to the more typical 64cc 350 head chamber volume would require shaving them .072". Doing that would create 2 problems: 1) The intake manifold would be mismatched, and would have to be shaved to properly seal, and 2) the head deck thickness would be reduced and more susceptible to warping and cracking. After all that, you'd still have the old, inefficient, 441 ports and chambers.

You did see my head recommendation in your other thread, right?
