85 305 TPI want to swap a 91 305 TPI

Posted before but have a few questions, bought a motor and tranny from a once near mint z28 had 40k miles on it. I know the blocks are similar and I know tranny will swap fine with just speedo changes. Heres what I need to know because I need this car back on the road asap.

What exactly do I need to switch from the motors, I have everything and I mean everything from the 91 Z except the VATS system stuff, no column nothing like that hust the harness to the drivers side firewall and the harness all the way to and the computer on the passenger side. My 85 Z28 is completely intact and so is the motor and tranny from the 91 Z28.

I am replacing the exhaust when I do this and a few other things after its done but the most important thing is the engine swap. I think it is just a simple swap but my brother thinks because the other car had vats system we cant use the engine.

the 1227730 ecm from the 91 tpi would have vats, If you have the passkey module you might be able to figure out the old key resistance and bypass it that way. You could but a vats bypass modulator off ebay for less than $20. Or have the vats reprogramed out of the sd memcal when you are having it reprogramed to optical vss input on pin c6 of the speed density ecm. No need to purchase a new ip. The 1227730 is a great upgrade to the junk 870 ecm in the car now.

You will need to use the flexplate from the 91 engine as well.

Ok but I think what I am asking and another guy posted before is can i keep my harness and all with the new engine?
i know mine has a 9th injector and I have to swap tpi's but is there any other differences?
i guess MAF vs MAP would be one. May just end up getting that module you speak of. Where does it plug up? My car has no vats system.

A vats bypass hz module would goto pin F10 on the 1227730 ecm

Okay that sounds good but its kinda more than what I know. I am sure I could figure it out but where would I get the memcal reprogrammed?
