They are so close in year more than likely nothing is different, but all motor parts that you buy from auto part stores buy them for the '90 350

Re: 89 305 to 90 350

Any parts for the fuel injection (I am assuming TPI because it is a IROC) I would order for an 89 because of minor differences between the 89 MAF TPI and the 90 speed density TPI(all sensors and emissions included etc). I would tell them 89 350 for those parts. Anything that isn't fuel injection related but engine I would tell them 90 and what the motor came out of.

Well, since '89 TPI is MAF and '90 TPI is SD, there is a pretty significant difference.

How much of the '90 350 are you getting and putting into the '89?

I thought we were talking about the motor? I'm not sure which people like better, but why not go with your same computer and setup?

Re: 89 305 to 90 350

It would be easier to keep the MAF so you don't have change the cars wiring and computer. Just use the 305 intake set up, get a "chip" for an 89 350 and use the 350 injectors. If I was doing it I would use a new set of injectors....
