l98 (corvette heads) 383 combo with 700r4

Well kinda like i figured the transmission would crapped out before my 2.8 did so i figure now that my transmission's pulled i should go with a slightly mild (87 and up stroked and bored 350) 383 build with ported corvette aluminum l98 heads 1:6 rockers or 1:52 rockers with an LT4 hot cam and run the tuned port set up just to get a better feel than what the 2.8 offered. My only concern is getting a v8 700r4 and having it rebuilt with a mild stall and shift kit hoping the tranny holds up since i hear a stock one only holds a little over 350 hp. How much horsepower\ torque at the flywheel could i have with this combo, will the 700r4 hold up even after a rebuild and what kind of stall should i use, gear wise i'm running a non posi 3.42 rear right now if it makes a difference.

Better steer clear of the vette heads. 58cc chambers on a 383 is going to give you an extremely high compression ratio. They don't flow any better than the iron L98 heads either.
