Ignition troubleshooting
I recently swapped a 1970 C10 350 into my car and am fighting it all the way. I'm not quite sure how much I like this MSD setup that I installed, and am contemplating going bact to the HEI setup. I'm using a Mallory Unilite distributor, with a 6AL box. I have issues timing it due to my Light picking up EVERY spark the MSD gives off. I just developed a dead cylinder under load recently and I'm quite concerned.. Thoughts?

What coil are you using? What spark plug wires?
An incorrect coil will cause issues with an MSD box. Cheap spark plug wires can be burnt out with the more intense spark of the MSD.
