tbi tpi swap - metal fuel line question
I know that the rubber fuel lines from the frame to the TPI need to be from the TPI engine, but are the metal lines that run along the frame strong enough for the higher pressure pump?

Re: tbi tpi swap - metal fuel line question
if the rubber lines can handle it the metal ones sure should, as long as they arent severely rusted and there isnt the risk of blowing a hole through one then the simple answer is yes
Re: tbi tpi swap - metal fuel line question
The TBI soft lines will handle TPI pressure fine. They are both pressure line the soft lines back by the tank will be fine as well. Never had a problem with mt TBI soft lines at TPI pressure. I believe the hoses are rated to 150 psi anyways so no chance you will pop a TBI soft line at TPI pressure.
