Hey guys I'm having some problems with my firebird. I bought it knowing I needed a new.fuel pump and I fixed it. It starts now but shuts off if I don't keep foot on gas if it idels under 1500rpms it will shut off. I also did spark plugs and wires and other things if anyone could give me some input that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

check all of the ECM fuses, turn the key on and make sure that all of the power wires to the ECM are getting power, my ECM 2 fuse causes the same issue

 

Also check the ICM and the coil in the distributor, I had a stalling at red lights issue that was caused by either one or both of these being bad.

 

Yeah its like my engines not getting enough gas to it but I will.check all these thanks.guys

 

have you checked the fuel pressure?
Just because the pump is good doesn't mean you have fuel pressure at the rails.
Fuel filter could be blocked for example

Also pull the engine codes and see if anything showing;
something else ( electronics? ) may be playing up
